The
Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London’s premier
purpose built conference centre has appointed The Corporate
Team (TCT) as their new
hotel booking agency for an initial three year
period commencing 1st May 2007.

at Crème in Olympia attracts plenty of visitors and
gives our sales staff a chance to discuss service requirements
with customers. Congratulations to winners of our prize draw
which this year included a trip to Milan staying in one of
NH Hotel group’s luxury properties.

TCT’s Conference and Event Booking
Department benefits from the company’s purchase of an
integrated venue and client database and agency booking system
from Venuebase Software Ltd. The system automates conference
and event booking processes thereby enhancing TCT’s C & E
Department’s ability to provide a fast and efficient
service to conference clients

TCT’s
impressive stand at Law 07 in Olympia provides a good opportunity
to meet existing legal clients while prospecting for new
ones too.
2008
January
After a successful trial period TCT has
signed a contract to supply hotel and conference booking services
to The Peacocks Retail Group.

February
TCT’s
sister company British
Hotel Reservation Centre (BHRC) opens
a new hotel booking desk at St Pancras International Station.
As well as providing hotel booking services to the travelling
public the facility also offers theatre tickets, sightseeing
trips, mobile phone hire and other useful products and services.
TCT clients can now access such services ‘face to face’ on
their way to and from France via Eurostar
March
BHRC opens its biggest
and most impressive booking desk at Heathrow Terminal 5.
TCT is now delighted to be able to offer its service face
to face from Britain’s newest and largest airport terminal.
April
TCT is pleased to
announce its partnership with New Connaught Rooms, one of
the most versatile and successful conference venues in central
London.The Corporate Team
will offer a complimentary service to Conference organisers
and conference delegates who wish to arrange accommodation
linked to events at the New Connaught Rooms.

TCT’s
directors congratulate Lourdes Garcia (aka ‘Lulu’)
from the company’s Finance Department for completing 20 years service.
She joins a small but distinguished club to which there are now a growing number.
She is awarded a richly deserved holiday in Malta!

‘Are
independents the new brand?’ – was an interesting
topic aired at this year’s HBAA Forum. TCT has always
recognised the importance of offering the choice of good independent
hotels as well as the big brands to our clients. A new
TCT initiative is now in place to make sure that good independent
hoteliers get fair marketing exposure to TCT’s client
base under TCT’s ‘Fair Play for Independents
Scheme’.

More in depth data and
sharper images of hotels and meetings venues will soon be available
to TCT booking consultants and clients as a result of TCT’s
agreement to work with ABC Connection Ltd. Tosca Jimenez, TCT’s
Account Director, commented ‘ABC’s system is very
impressive – the best I have seen and of course we always
want the best for our clients.’
