March 10 - TCT signs new contract with Earl’s Court and Olympia

TCT has signed a new contract to supply hotel bookings services to delegates and exhibition organisers at two of London’s best known venues – Earl’s Court and Olympia. The service includes an online booking tool featuring over 150 hotels and access to TCT’s experienced hotel booking team based in London’s Victoria. Erwin Bustos, TCT’s Business Development Manager said ‘Having first approached EC & O over a year ago I am very pleased that we have now been appointed to work with two of the most famous venues in the UK – this is a great opportunity for TCT and we are looking forward to working with EC & O’s staff to ensure that all visitors to the venues can be offered a wide choice of hotels at very competitive rates..’

December 09 - TCT launches new conference booking site

TCT new London Conference Venue website – www.londonconferencevenue.co.uk gives clients the facility to search for a wide variety of venues in London and other major UK cities. The site allows clients to narrow their search criteria so that exactly the right venue for their event can be sourced quickly and conveniently. Nathalie Claiborne, TCT’s Conference and Events Manager, said the site was attracting many new interesting leads.

November 09 - TCT to supply hotel booking services to leading UK fashion retailer

TCT will now extend its services to Bonmarche - a related company to Peacocks. Erwin Bustos, TCT’s Business Development Manager said ’TCT is delighted to be given the opportunity to extend its services work with one of the UK’s leading women’s fashion retailers.’

September 09 - TCT Launches new CSR Initiative

TCT’S new CSR questionnaire provides a more holistic approach to evaluating suppliers’ CSR policies. TCT now autoscores hotels and conference venues on a much wider set of CSR criteria than the standard measures such as carbon footprint figures. For example TCT now requests information about the amount of water used by hotels and conference venues and also the extent to which a hotel supports schemes or activities to help the community is evaluated. July 09 - TCT awarded major government contract - again

After a testing tender process TCT is delighted to announce that it has retained its contract to provide Hotel Booking Services to The British Council. The 3 year contract worth approximately £8M commenced on 1 July. TCT's Senior Account Director Tosca Jimenez said 'We have been very proud to provide hotel booking services to The British Council and we are of course glad that the council has decided to renew its contract with us. The council which plays a key role in building relationships with countries around the world needs a hotel booking service that is robust, adaptable and innovative. June 09 - TCT acquires advanced conference booking system

In order to provide conference booking clients with the very best in customer service TCT has upgraded its conference and event booking system with the purchase of new software provided by Gratis, a product of The Venue Directory. This new system allows TCT to speed up the response times to client conference enquiries and also provide more detailed and accurate information including quality iimages of the venues we propose.

June 09 - TCT uses the BTM to launch its new self booking tool to the corporate market

 TCT's stand at the new event for corporate travel manager's, ''The Business Travel Market' proved to be the perfect forum to launch TCT's Hotelsaver product. The event which was held at London's Excel attracted many leading travel buyers despite being the first of its kind. TCT's Sales Director Tony Kingsnorth said ' We were of course very pleased to have the opportunity to showcase our new self booking tool at such a high profile event and the system has attracted a lot of interest.'
