March 2011 - The Business Travel and Meetings and Confex Shows

TCT took stands at The Business Travel and Meetings Show in February and Confex in March. Both of the exhibitions were held at Earls Court and attracted large numbers of travel buyers and conference and event organisers from a wide range of organisations. Erwin Bustos, Business Development Manager, said ' Both shows gave us the opportunity to meet some interesting potential customers. It was also very nice to meet  several of our existing clients and of course many of our hotel partners who called at our stands at both shows.'

February 2011 - Premier Inn Direct Connect

TCT is proud to announce the completion of 'Direct Connect' to the Premier Inn hotel brand. This means that TCT's reservation staff can now book Premier Inns more quickly and conveniently as TCT's booking systems are now fully integrated with Premier Inn, one of the UK's most successful hotel companies. The connection also means that TCT's clients can electronically book Premier Inns via TCT's highly acclaimed self booking tool. Tony Kingsnorth, Sales and Marketing Director, said Direct Connect to Premier Inns will help to streamline the booking process and give TCT customers access to highly competitive hotel rates in over 500 Premier Inns around the UK. The integration of the systems took some time to complete but I am very pleased that we are now one of the few agencies able to offer our clients the facility to electronically book this highly popular hotel brand.'

January 2011 - TCT to Provide Major Improvements to Global Hotel Content

TCT's continues to invest in technological innovation so as to improve the service it delivers to all clients. A new deal has been signed with Pegasus Solutions Inc, the world's largest hotel switch company. The deal which is a system enhancement sits on top of TCT's long standing relationship with Pegasus which dates back to 1998. Pegasus's ODDR will give TCT customers access to more in depth information on 85,000 hotels worldwide. The product includes regularly updated quality images of the hotels and detailed information about facilities they provide.  Jasbir Jandu, Head of IT, said that he expected the ODDR integration to be complete by the end of March.
