The services must also result in substantial savings on hotel and conference expenditure being achieved for each client organisation without compromising on accommodation or conference venue standards.
Caring for the Guests
We recognise that guests and delegates must always be accommodated in a safe environment. The accommodation should be in a pleasant setting and in establishments where we feel confident that guests will be properly looked after.
This means that when we book hotels or conference venues we look for assurance and evidence of the following:
Compliance with appropriate Health and Safety Regulations.
Facilities to prepare food in a hygienic manner.
Robust fire prevention and detection equipment with adequate means of escape.
Good security - e.g. secure bedrooms with adequate locks, safes or lockable rooms for valuables such as laptops, well lit car parking areas, consideration for female guests travelling alone and special arrangements to care for the disabled.
Making Life Easier for the Travel Arrangers
The travel arrangers from our various client organisations must be dealt with in a courteous and helpful manner at all times and within the timeframes agreed in service level agreements.
Feedback and complaints
We regularly invite feedback from all of our clients and take a positive view of any comments or suggestions, which might be made on ways to improve the service and hotel standards.
Any complaints are generally responded to within 1 hour and where possible we will aim to resolve these within 24 hours.
Aiming to Delight not just Satisfy
The Corporate Team has always aimed to provide much more to its clients than a basic hotel and conference booking service. We provide a full range of associated services including the provision of hotel booking technology, access to extensive management information, the development of hotel programmes and procurement strategy, rate negotiation, account management and marketing support. These associated services are mostly supplied at no extra cost. The Corporate Team has always looked to recruit staff with a 'can do' attitude who will always be happy to do that bit more for our clients. We will always aim not just to satisfy but to delight our clients with the standard of service provided.
